| In the last decade, the key physical dynamic processes (i.e. frontal system, stratification and circulation ) in the Chinese coastal sea, and their role in advection and diffusion of nutrients as well as the formation of nursery and over-winter grounds are investigated in the major project of NSFC "Marine ecosystem dynamics in the Bohai Sea and sustainable utilization of marine living resources" and National Basic Research Project "Characteristics and mechanism of the meso-scale physical processes in the high productivity area in the Yellow and East China Seas". |
