- 在JAMSTEC工作期间，对琉球海流进行了一系列的观测研究，从实际观测资料中得到了冲绳岛以东的琉球海流的平均流量，证实了在冲绳岛以东确实长期存在着一支东北向的海流-琉球海流。2006年回国以来，先后主持了国家863项目和国家自然科学基金项目，并入选了浙江省钱江人才计划。积极把国外的海洋观测先进的方法和技术引进到国内，率先在国内开展了沿海声层析技术研发和应用研究，并在浙江沿海进行实践和应用研究。
