Academician Li Jiabiao attended the 27th Annual Meeting of the China Association for Science and Technology and delivered a keynote speech.

The International Training on Marine Environment and Three-Dimensional Disasters Monitoring Capacity for Small Island Developing States was launched in Hangzhou.

The SIO, in collaboration with multiple units, jointly released the “Digital Intelligent System for Deep-Sea Seamounts”.

The delegation from the SIO attended the Third UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France.

The SIO held the World Oceans Day (June 8) Public Science Popularization Event.

2025 Zhejiang Provincial Symposium on Foreign Aid Training Work was held at the SIO.

The SIO signed a Joint Expedition Implementation Agreement with the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia.

China presented “Remote Sensing Monitoring Country-Specific Report” compiled by the SIO to Nauru.

The Group Standard for Technical Code on Carbon Stock in Muddy Coasts led by the SIO was officially released.  

The SIO, along with multiple units, jointly announced the interim achievements of the trusted data space for the marine economy sector.
