SOED Convened Annual Academic Conference and Conference for Academic Board

From March 23 to 25, the academic conference of 2016 and 2nd conference for the 3rd academic board of the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics was held. Wu Guoxiong, Zhou Chenghu, Su Jialan and Chen Dake, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Gong Huixing, Pan Delu and Li Jiabiao, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Qu Tanzhou, director of the Department of Science and Technology of the State Oceanic Administration, and Zhou Ping, director of the Research Base Office of the Basic Research Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology, attended the conference. The attendees also included over 100 experts and scholars from more than 10 universities and institutes like the University of Hawaii in the Unites States, University of New South Wales in Australia, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Taiwan University, Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, CAS, and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS.
