主要从事海底成矿作用与资源评价、海底冷泉系统沉积作用等研究。主持国家自然科学基金面上基金和青年基金、大洋专项、国家重点研发计划子任务等多项科研项目，发表学术论文50余篇，其中第一作者/通讯作者20篇，参与出版学术专著4部，获得省部级科技奖励3项。
