Recently, the monograph Marine Geo-Hazards in China in English authored by Ye Yincan, a researcher and senior expert in Zhejiang Province, was published through ELSEWIER Press. Compared with the original Chinese version, the English one is greatly adjusted, modified, improved and updated. The focus shifts from geo-hazards to those in sea. The book highlights and supplements the geo-hazards inducing environment, mechanism, laws and process, existing or potential dangers and prevention and control.
