The 38th Voyage Succeeds and Several Researches of Our Institute Progress Smoothly

On June 23, "Xiangyanghong 09", carrying the “Jiaolong” manned submersible and more than 90 members of the scientific expedition team, slowly berthed at the port of the Management Center of Qingdao-based National Deep Sea Base, which marked the accomplishment of all research tasks in the 138-day 38th voyage and that of the 15-year-long experiment and application oriented voyage of the “Jiaolong”. The deputy director Zheng Yulong, chief engineer Li Mingbi and the deputy director of the Ecology Laboratory Wang Chunsheng greeted the team in Qingdao.
