State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED) Held the Second "Starfish” Youth

Recently, the second "Starfish” Youth Forum and "Symposium on Response of Marine Ecosystem under Multiple Stresses” hosted by State Key Laboratory of SOED was held online.
This forum was convened by Youth Committee of State Key Laboratory of SOED with the purpose of building a platform for young scientists to share research results, promoting crossing and integration of disciplines, inspiring new academic ideas, creating new academic views and cultivating new disciplines. The forum was hosted by the Youth Committee members Wang Yuntao and Zhang Yang.
This forum is based on crossing disciplines and discusses cutting-edge scientific contents such as ocean sink enhancement potential, marine biogeochemical processes and their physical mechanisms, the responses and feedback of marine environment to global warming and short-term climate oscillations. Of this forum, 11 "Young Visiting Starfish Scholars” of State Key Laboratory from Ningbo University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other units were invited to give keynote reports and conduct in-depth discussions.
