On August 19, China Oceanic Voyage 75 organized and implemented by the SIO set sail from Qingdao. Li Huaiming of the SIO was the chief scientist of the voyage, Han Xibin was the temporary Party branch secretary, and eight scientific researchers from the Key Laboratory of Submarine Geosciences and the Key Laboratory of Marine Ecosystem Dynamics of the SIO participated in the voyage. Fang Yinxia, Deputy Director of the SIO, went to Qingdao to see them off.
In this voyage, the “DA YANG YI HAO” was used for a 105-day survey in the Northwest Pacific Ocean, to carry out a comprehensive environmental station survey, collect environmental baseline data in the contract area, and deepen the understanding of the spatial and temporal distribution law of benthos and other baselines in the contract area.
