The Antarctic Expedition Team from Our Institute Completes China’s First Collection of Subsurface Bu

At 9 a.m. local time on February 23, three Antarctic expedition team members from the Marine Ecology and Environment Laboratory of our institute successfully collected a set of integrated biogeochemical mooring system from the waters of Prydz Bay in the Antarctic Ocean around the South Rim of the Westerlies on the “Xuelong” research vessel after nearly 4 hours of tough operations, which marked China’s first collection of subsurface buoy from westerlies.
