Ding Weiwei, a researcher from the SIO, comprehensively introduced the scientific research plan related to the Java subduction zone that both parties plan to carry out. Scientists from both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the core content, specific implementation procedures and details of the scientific plan, jointly determined the core content and specific implementation plan for the scientific research on the Java subduction zone, and reached a high degree of consensus on the next step of work planning and arrangement.
This visit substantially advanced the marine international cooperation between the SIO and UGM and laid the foundation for the next stage of joint voyage. In the future, the SIO will continue to steadfastly deepen China-Indonesia marine cooperation, actively inject new vitality into the realization of visions such as “2045 Golden Indonesia”, and help China and Indonesia achieve a win-win situation and development goals in cooperation.
