2025 Zhejiang Provincial Symposium on Foreign Aid Training Work was held at the SIO.

To promote the high-quality development of foreign aid training work in Zhejiang Province, the 2025 provincial symposium on foreign aid training work was held at the SIO on May 27. Representatives from the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and eight foreign aid training institutions in the province gathered together to discuss new ideas and measures for foreign aid training work. The symposium was hosted by Researcher Yu Ruifeng, Director of the Foreign Economic and Trade Cooperation Bureau of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. Director Fang Yinxia delivered a welcome speech. Representatives from the eight foreign aid training institutions shared their respective work experiences and insights, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the next work. These representatives also visited the exhibition hall of the SIO. With the in-depth advancement of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, foreign aid training is emerging as a crucial platform for fostering people-to-people bonds and promoting pragmatic cooperation. The SIO has established multiple multilateral and bilateral international cooperation platforms. In the future, the SIO will leverage its unique advantages to closely integrate foreign aid training with the development of international cooperation business, and explore an effective path that serves national strategies and empowers platform construction and the transformation of international cooperation achievements.
