主要从事海洋环境生态学及微量金属生物地球化学方面的研究工作，研究海洋生物对重金属的累积特征及生态健康风险、海洋生物对环境中重金属生物地球化学过程的影响机制。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、海洋公益性行业科研专项、海洋二所基本科研业务专项等多项研究项目。在国内外学术期刊上发表论文30余篇，其中以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文10余篇。
