The State Key Laboratory of Satellite Marine Environmental Dynamics held 2020 Academic Annual Meetin

On December 14, the fifth meeting of the third academic committee of the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environmental Dynamics (SOED) was held.
The director of the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environmental Dynamics (SOED) made a work report for 2015-2020, introducing SOED positioning and research directions, focusing on the highlights of the laboratory achievements and the progress made in team building, talent training, open communication, and operation management, and put forward thinking and prospects about the challenges faced by the laboratory and the future development. The members of the Academic Committee reviewed and approved the director's report.
The participating experts respectively inaugurated the key laboratory of satellite marine environmental dynamics of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Triangle Ecological Environment Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of the Minister of Natural Resources, and the Hangzhou Global Argo System Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of the Ministry of Natural Resources. Experts discussed the future development of marine science, development trends and the opportunities and challenges, and particularly encouraged young scientists to strengthen research on marine science and technology.
