Recently,the English book High-Resolution Seafloor Survey and Applications written by researcherWu Ziyin of SIO and others, funded by the "China Book International",was jointly published by Springer and Science Press, and simultaneouslydistributed internationally and domestically.
High-ResolutionSeafloor Survey and Applications has a total of 12 chapters andapproximately 900,000 words.Based on the summary of more than 20 years of practical work experience andresults of Wu Ziyin's research team, it has systematically and deeply studiedthe sea-floor high-resolution detection technology, processing technology andscientific application, thus forming a theoretical system of seabed detectiontechnology including spaceborne, shipborne, unmanned autonomous detection andseabed in-situ observation, and systematically discusses the cutting-edgetechnologies based on machine learning, such as automatic filtering andprocessing of seabed data, seabed target recognition and seabed acousticsediment classification. The book focuses on the practical application ofcutting-edge science and technology, and discusses the application of seabedexploration technology in continental shelf delimitation, seabed geomorphologyand deep-sea resource research.
Thepublication of this book marks that we have begun to give back to theinternational community andspread scientific theoretical knowledge from learning seabed explorationtechnology and theories from Western developed countries in early period.
