主要从事气候变化以及近海动力和生态过程研究，在模式模拟评估、全球/区域气候系统响应、近海缺氧、海气界面过程等方面取得一定成果。共发表学术论文近30篇，合作发明专利2项，参与专著1部。主持包括国家青年基金、全球变化与海气相互作用专项课题、海洋二所基本科研业务费专项资金项目个人项目等5项。作为骨干参与国家重点研发等多项课题。
曾获得大气科学进展（英文，AAS）期刊突出论文奖（2017年），中国产学研合作创新与促进奖-产学研合作创新成果奖（2020年）
